The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche is acknowledged as one of the foremost scholars of his generation in the Nyingma and Kagyu schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Fluent in English and well-versed in Western culture, Rinpoche has adapted the traditional Tibetan education curriculum for Western audiences. In 1996 he helped establish Nitartha Institute (www.nitarthainstitute.org) and he is a visiting professor at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.
