Description
Whether directed at others or experienced in response to difficult situations, anger is an enemy that can be tamed by its antidote, patience. This teaching is a commentary on Shantideva’s chapter on patience in The Bodhicharyavatara. Bardor Tulku Rinpoche bases his commentary on Jamyang Lamai Shalung Dutsi Tikpa (Drops of Amrita from the Mouth of Guru Manjushri) by Khenpo Kunzang Palden. Rinpoche shows how to work with anger in the context of everyday experience. With relentless logic, this teaching demonstrates that situations of conflict, endured and resolved through patience, present occasions for spiritual growth. Translated by Lama Yeshe Gyamtso. Four talks. These CD recordings have Track Points at each transition between Tibetan and English.
Features
Track Pointing on Audio Recordings
(CDs and MP3CDs)
A few audio recordings are “track-pointed” rather than “Mainly English”. That is, all the Tibetan teaching is on the CD or MP3CD. If you do nothing when playing these recordings, you will hear the full teaching as it happened. However, at any time during the Tibetan if you push the Next Track button (>>|) on the CD player or its remote control, the player will jump to the start of the English translation of that section of the teaching. If you push the Next Track button during the English translation, you will jump ahead to the next section of Tibetan teaching.
