Description

Buddhist meditation aims to calm and steady the mind and help us recognize mind's ultimate nature. Meditation practices taught in the sutras help us to purify negativities and cultivate calm abiding. The meditation practices taught in the tantras relate to our vajra (indestructible) Buddha nature. Meditating on buddhas and bodhisattvas, performing guru yoga (devotional) meditation, and the deep, penetrating insight meditation practices of Mahamudra ("The Great Seal of Authentic Mind") are just three types of practices taught in the Vajrayana. This teaching covers both sutra and tantra-based practices, and offers techniques for using these practices both on the cushion and in our daily lives. Four talks.
These talks can be downloaded: 1. Complete your order. 2. You will receive an email confirmation of your order. 3. Usually within 24 hours you will receive two additional emails, one indicating that we have processed your order, and a second that will give you a link to a web page where you can download the talks.

  • MP3 Audio Download Recordings
  • The MP3 audio files have proper ID3 tag information, which means that on a computer, iPod or similar device the audio files will display (and can be searched by) Album (Title of teaching), Song (Talk number within a teaching) and Artist (Teacher).
