The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche presents the View of Mahamudra based on teachings by Jamgon Kongtrul Lodro Thaye in the Treasury of Knowledge, Rinpoche introduces Sutra, Tantra and Essence Mahamudra, and further explains Sutra and Essence Mahamudra from the perspective of ground, path and fruition. Rinpoche discusses the lineage of Mahamudra; the meaning and importance of devotion; the four causal conditions unique to the Essence Mahamudra practices; and how to meditate on Mahamudra, including eight points to meditate on in the Essence Mahamudra Path.
