In it’s deepest meaning, bardo is the experience of awakened mind in every present moment. In order to realize that state, the extensive teachings on bardo present 6 bardos: living, dreaming, meditation, dying, dharmata and becoming. In these talks, The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche teaches practices for realizing nature of mind that are most appropriate for each bardo, basing his commentary on bardo teachings of Padmasambhava. Rinpoche supplements this with the bardo and powa yogas from the Six Yogas of Naropa section of Jamgon Kongtrul Lodrö Thaye’s Treasury of Knowledge. Translation assistance from Gerry Weiner. These teachings provided the basis for Rinpoche's book, Mind Beyond Death (Snow Lion). Fourteen talks.
