Description

In this digitally re-mastered 1999 talk, Rinpoche gives a direct and detailed teaching on subduing obstacles from the Vajrayana point of view. Rinpoche begins by explaining the Vajrayana view, including the nature of the student and guru relationship. He then provides an approach to subduing obstacles that is based on The Seven Line Supplication to Padmakara. After explaining the literal meaning of the words of the supplication, Rinpoche gives a profound teaching on the inner or 'secret' meaning of the prayer, which encompasses the essence of the Vajrayana path. This teaching shows us how we can use The Seven Line Supplication as a tool to help us transcend obstacles and access our own enlightened nature. This teaching is a 'must listen' for all Vajrayana practitioners. Five talks on one MP3CD.
