The Aspiration of Samantabadra belongs to the Dzogchen tradition of Vajrayana Buddhism. This prayer presents the path to complete awakening according to the Dzogchen tradition as well as instructions to make our path genuine and correct. It expresses the different manifestations of basic awareness in ordinary life. It is an aspiration to realize rigpa, realize the genuine path, and realize the genuine teacher.
