Description
When Saraha encountered a wisdom dakini and began to engage in yogic practices, the King encouraged him to return to traditional monastic practice. In response, Saraha sang this doha. A doha is not a gradual and systematic instruction on practice. Rather it is a song expressing bliss resulting from personal realization. Upon hearing this doha, the King gained realization. Saraha’s doha presents ground, path and fruition mahamudra, first in summary and then more extensively using various analogies. Thrangu Rinpoche’s teaching provides clear, profound and extensive commentary on Saraha’s doha. Lama Yeshe Gyamtso translated. 11 talks. These Audio CDs are edited in the "Mainly English" format. The teaching is also available on MP3CD.
