Description
The Garland of Pearls is a collection of Gampopa’s Assembly Dharmas which are transcripts of lectures on the essential meaning of dharma that Gampopa gave to his students. These lectures were transcribed by Gampopa’s nephew. Each assembly lecture is about 30 minutes long and presents a concise and accessible teaching on some aspect of dharma. Hearing these transcripts read and commented upon by Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche and translated by Lama Yeshe Gyamtso conveys a genuine feeling of actually attending these teachings by Gampopa over 900 years ago. The intimacy and the casual yet direct style of Gampopa’s teaching comes through clearly. Includes Q&A. This set presents teachings on all 20 of The Garland of Pearls lectures. The price for the two-part set is 10% off the retail price for each set purchased separately. This recording has chapter points.
