Description
In September, 2000 Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche visited Hartford KTC and taught on Buddha Nature. In an intimate setting, Rinpoche presented teachings that are beneficial for both beginning and advanced practitioners. Beginning with a teaching on the equality of all beings and the origins of the Kagyu lineage in the Samadhiraja Sutra, Rinpoche went on to present clear and profound teachings on the benefits of accumulating and dedicating merit, taking the Nyungnay Vow, and the qualities of Buddha nature. In talk three, Rinpoche presented a spectacular, detailed and accessible talk on emptiness of self and emptiness of phenomena, approaching these topics from the perspective of analytical meditation, Madhyamaka logic and Vajrayana practice. In the afternoon sessions, Rinpoche provided extensive opportunities for questions and answers. Lama Yeshe Gyamtso's translation was superb. Four talks. This recording is edited in a "Mainly English" edition.
